AEI is equipped with
"CIVILCADD" and "SOFTDESK" MAP 3 and SOFTDESK/CIVIL
Survey maps 8.0 software developed for civil engineering along with AutoCAD
Civil 3D 2008 for drafting.
AEI is equipped with 10 PC
computers and networked with Windows Server 2003 to allow all types of
design and drafting capabilities by all of our engineers, designers and
draftsmen.
AEI is equipped with on-line
Internet Services to allow for E-mail and data transfer to all clients and
architects that we work with.
Survey Equipment:
AEI's surveyors are equipped with Topcon Total Station model TCR
303-surveys instruments linked to an HP 200 Palm Top computer. The HP 200
Palm Top computer connects directly to the surveyors instrument for
simultaneous horizontal and vertical data connection. At the end of the
surveyors day the collected data is then downloaded and stored in the
office mainframe computer to be used by our entire staff. For construction
staking, design information is transferred back to the survey instrument
for horizontal and vertical staking in the field, thereby minimizing the possibility
of human error in transferring information and calculations.
